15th Annual Children’s day Celebration
Centro Cultural of Washington County and the Cornelius Public Library present the 15th Annual Children’s Day Celebration to be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Echo Shaw Elementary School in Cornelius (914 S. Linden Street).
The theme for this year is, “Healthy Kids, Healthy Minds”
This free family event includes a talent show, music, dancing, singing, clowns, food (free hot dogs), games, arts and crafts, information booths, activities, and more. In addition, there will be a soccer tournament hosted by Hillsboro Futsal & Soccer Academy. Last year we had over 4,000 people attend from all parts of Washington County. The purpose of the Children’s Day celebration is to bring families together, to build a united community, and to strengthen and enrich our diverse Washington County community.
Many generous supporters of our community have made this celebration possible.

for ourselves, we find it hard to justify giving to others, but giving doesn't
necessarily require donating money to those less privileged than
ourselves. [Read More...]
