FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  02/20/2015

Cornelius OR. Newly elected Board Chair, Alexander Flores, announces the resignation of Centro Cultural’s Executive Director (ED). Centro Cultural’s transition committee has begun a nationwide search for a new ED to assure the selection of a qualified and capable leader who fits well with the organization's vision and values. To facilitate a smooth transition, the executive assistant has been promoted to Administrator. The non-profit organization has welcomed a few new members to the board of directors. The board of directors is actively involved in continuing to fulfill the mission of Centro Cultural to promote education and economic development, increase cultural consciousness, respond to community needs and celebrate understanding among the diverse groups of our community. Contributions to Centro Cultural will continue to play a major role in promoting culture awareness and sustainable programs to benefit the local Latino community. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with our supporters in the future and welcome those who are interested in getting involved with this important work.

ourselves. [Read More...]
