Centro Cultural and FEJAL NW “Federacion Jalisciense del Noroeste,” presents “Fiestas Patrias 2011 – Festival Mexicano”, Culture, Education, Music and Traditions.

The “Festival Mexicano” is a community event that takes place during “Jalisco Week 2011” and the “Celebrations of Mexican Independence Day”. The official celebration of “El Grito” from the Mexican Consul in Portland, Minister Enrique Romero Cuevas.  It shares the customs and roots of Mexico in our community.   These celebrations complete with authentic Mexican food, Mariachi, fun for the whole family and much more will take place at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Hillsboro, OR. A Mexican Fiesta for the whole family with Mexican cuisine, traditional dances and much more in this event that the whole family will enjoy.

Centro Cultural of Washington County, FEJAL NW, and Hillsboro FUTSAL presents one of the main events is the “FESTIVAL MEXICANO FIESTAS PATRIAS 2011”  is the “Copa Jalisco Independencia”, a youth soccer tournament that promotes sports and physical activities for youth. Over 20 Latino youth teams competing in a friendly and educational tournament that supports our local soccer leagues on their effort to promote positive opportunities true sports (soccer) for our youth Latinos.
