Salary: $18.21 - $18.96 hourly

We are hiring two Full-Time Security Agents to ensure the safety and security of our staff and guests, while maintaining a welcoming safe space for our clients and guests. The Facility Security Agent is scheduled to provide customer service based protection for the Portland'5 Centers for the Arts events as a rover and stage door security. The basic role of the Facility Security Agent's is to protect clients and staff against trespass, vandalism, theft, fire or other potential harm and/or threat through patrol of facilities during scheduled shifts. The security agent serves as an Ambassador for our venues- providing excellent customer service and public service to our patrons, employees and volunteers.
These are full-time positions. The hours are Wednesday-Sunday from 8:00am- to 5:00pm and Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm. However hours/days may very as the need arises. Probationary Rate: $18.21, Regular Rate: $18.96

High school diploma or GED, and one year of responsible experience in providing security for a large facility; or any combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job. This position requires the possession of (or the ability to obtain upon hire):
1. Security certification and/or DPSST certification from the State of Oregon
2. Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate, First Aid and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification
3. Valid driver's license.
Note: A Physical Capacity Test, which simulates the essential job tasks for this position, will be administered to all applicant "finalists" for any Security Agent position. Offers of hire will be made contingent upon successful results of a Physical Capacity Test.
