The Portland Expo Center is seeking a knowledgeable, accounting focused applicant to join our team. We're looking for employees who enjoy working in a fast paced and friendly event environment. This position is responsible for tasks that are essential to providing assistance with core business functions of the Expo Center.
The Administrative Technician is responsible for organizing and executing a variety of moderately complex administrative and technical duties in areas such as accounts receivable, accounts payables, budget analysis, database management, and record keeping for the Expo Center. Supervision is received from the Executive Director.
This position interacts with internal staff and external customers. Duties include supporting department managers, providing information and assistance regarding departmental services, policies and procedures, and the collection, verification and editing of information for various reports. Additionally, the position serves as backup to other department members.
Flexible, 20 hours/week Monday - Friday

Three years of responsible administrative, accounting and general office experience; High school diploma or G.E.D. or any combination of education and experience that would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge and ability required to perform the job.
Associates degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Office Management or related field OR applicable certification.
