Position Title: Building Custodian – Metro Regional Center, part-time

Salary: $14.00 - $18.76 hourly
POSITION SUMMARY:
Schedule: 5 nights per week, Monday – Friday, 4 hours per night; early evening start (5 p.m. or 6 p.m.); schedules may vary on occasion, as needed. This position is benefits eligible. Benefits will be prorated.

We're looking for one new team member who will take pride in keeping the Metro Regional Center, a landmark public building, clean, healthy and safe for staff and visitors. Custodians care for the appearance and cleanliness of all public and non-public areas and by providing customer assistance for any custodial requests.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a minimum of one (1) year of custodial/janitorial in a commercial or government setting.
Must obtain within 60 days of starting work:
• Blood Borne Pathogen Training
• Emergency and Safety Procedures Training
• HAZMAT Awareness Level Training.
Preferred qualifications:
• Two (2) or more years experience preferred
• Experience working in a professional building with multiple offices, cubicles, conference rooms and common areas
• Experience operating a variety of specialized cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbing machines, carpet shampooing equipment, pressure washers, floor sweepers or other similar equipment.
