Capital Project Services, a division of the Department of Land Use and Transportation, is recruiting for three Engineering Technician II openings. An Engineering Technician II is responsible for many tasks within the division related to the inspection and reporting of construction projects. Examples of duties include, but are not limited to: inspection of road and bridge construction projects, review of plans and specifications, project scoping, responding to citizen concerns, and emergency response.
Education and Experience:
A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Two (2) years of responsible experience in road construction, road construction inspection, construction management, civil engineering, traffic engineering, or surveying, and work experience in an office or field setting; OR
An Associate's Degree in civil engineering or related field.
