Position Title: Event Custodian – Oregon Convention Center, part-time

Salary: $13.96 - $17.09 hourly
This is an internal and a First Opportunity recruitment opportunity. The Oregon Convention Center is seeking enthusiastic applicants to join our team. The Convention Center hosts diverse organizations, people and events from around the world at a world-class venue. This position is responsible for tasks that are essential to providing a memorable experience for both shows and guests. Event custodians perform set-up, and clean-up and customer service duties for specified events on an on-call basis and are responsible for final area set-up and event maintenance and follow-up; assuring that rest rooms, lobbies, exterior and other public/non-public areas are clean, orderly and properly maintained. Supervision is received from the Oregon Convention Center Set-Up Supervisors.

Minimum of one year experience in facility cleaning or janitorial work. Ability to work a minimum of three shifts per week. Preference will be given to applicants with availability to work a variety of days and shifts to meet the needs of this position.
