Our Sheriff's Office is currently hiring for General Services Aides to work in the Public Safety Training Center. In this position, you will help to support the training of Washington County Sheriff's Office employees and staff from other agencies. You will be responsible for setting up classrooms, light janitorial duties in the staff locker room, training classrooms, the indoor firing range, the simulation city, and other areas as needed. In addition, some general reception and other miscellaneous tasks as described in the essential job duties may be required.
Experience and Education:
Equivalent of a high school or a GED; AND
One (1) year of experience that includes driving a vehicle and performing related general labor duties in an office, retail or warehouse setting.
Additional Licenses, Certificates, Physical Abilities, and Specialty Requirements:
Some positions may be required to possess a valid driver's and have an acceptable driving record per Washington County policy.
