Salary: $85,009.60 - $103,334.40 Annually

The Operations and Maintenance division is looking for a highly skilled and self-motivated Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst that will provide professional-level support to end users of GIS data within the department. Incumbents in this role analyze a variety of statistics and spatial data to create diagrams, illustrations and maps. They also develop applications using GIS technology, which includes translating the application specifications into programs, and recommend program actions based on the results of geographic data analysis.
Education and Experience:
A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
A Bachelor's Degree in planning, urban studies, geography, architecture, cartography, computer science, surveying, or a related field; AND
Three (3) years of experience in geographic information systems design.
ADDITIONAL LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, PHYSICAL ABILITIES AND SPECIALTY REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid driver's license in the State of Oregon and have an acceptable driving record.
