Position Title: Intern – Custodial Management – Oregon Zoo

The Custodial Management Intern will provide research and support projects within the Zoo's Operations division.
This internship provides first-hand exposure to careers in the facilities maintenance and public service fields. The goal of the internship is for students to gain a better understanding of data collection, reporting, research and data analysis skills. These skills will be gained within the facilities maintenance and custodial fields. This position will work under the direction of the Zoo's Operations Supervisor. In addition, the Intern will learn about Metro's organization, structure and services as a regional government.
Duration: mid June through early September
Schedule: Flexible, days, typically 32 hours per week; Monday - Friday

• Current college level student or high school graduate
• Basic computer skills (including data entry)
• Research skills
• Attention to detail
• Interest in facilities management is preferred
• A current drivers license with an established driving record in excess of two years is preferred
