Salary: $15.44 - $20.69 hourly
One position as a Lead Building Custodian is available. This position will be working at the Metro Regional Center, 600 NE Grand Ave., Portland, OR 97232. The position is budgeted at .75 FTE (30 hours per week) and is benefits eligible (benefits are prorated).
This position is expected to work the following schedule, Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 10:00 PM and Friday 2:30 PM – 9:00 PM. Additional work hours may be available beyond these posted hours.

We're looking for someone who will take pride in keeping the Metro Regional Center, a landmark public building, clean, healthy and safe for staff and visitors and someone who excels in leading others by providing for a collaborative and friendly team atmosphere.
In addition to performing comprehensive cleaning functions for all building areas, this position will lead the work of other custodians, delegate work assignments, and ensure that the work meets quality standards. This position, will also collaborate with the supervisor for any assistance needed, scheduling cleaning projects, inventory control and ordering supplies, and giving input on making improvements to the custodial program to make it more efficient and to take this custodial program to a higher level.

Two years of lead custodial/janitorial experience similar to the position duties and responsibilities or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working in a professional building with multiple offices, cubicles, conference rooms and common areas
• Experience operating a variety of specialized cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbing machines, carpet shampooing equipment, pressure washers, floor sweepers or other similar equipment.
Must obtain within 60 days of starting work:
• Blood Borne Pathogen Training
• Emergency and Safety Procedures Training
• HAZMAT Awareness Level Training
